Book Project “Special Case”
(Text and illustrations)
(Text and illustrations)
Misha is already in first grade. All of his classmates are starting to lose their baby teeth, which are being replaced by permanent ones. But Misha’s teeth just won’t fall out. He waits eagerly and envies his best friend Lara, who is younger than him but already has several new teeth.
Misha waits and waits. But still, none of his teeth are wobbly. Then one day, something terrible happens — he suddenly finds a new molar!
Misha and his mom visit the dentist to find out whether this is normal or not. The dentist reassures him: everything is fine — it’s just a bit unusual. A special case! Misha is relieved and takes the opportunity to ask the dentist all sorts of questions about baby teeth.
He’s proud to be a special case. But that pride lasts only until his first baby tooth finally falls out. Suddenly, Misha is just happy that his “specialness” is finally over.
At the end of the book, readers will find some fun facts about teeth — and a space to draw what the tooth fairy brought them!
